THANK YOU for your support of the 2011 Honor Show Chow Fitting Challenge. Attached you will find the full page color ad that will appear in the upcoming issues of Livestock Plus and Show Circuit Magazines. I have also sent a flier to all the Purina dealers in Iowa and Nebraska in hopes they will post it at their place of business. In an effort to help promote your fall club calf sales, we listed your sale dates and contact information. I want to especially thank Mike Sorenson and Roland Schumacher for running the ads in their magazines. I also want to thank Diane Hamilton (EDJE Technologies) for gathering all the sale dates and the sponsor logos and then building the ad---I’m sure that was not an easy task.
The Fitting Challenge will again be held in conjunction with the Ak-Sar-Ben Livestock Show – September 22-25. The preliminary round will be held late Friday morning with the finals scheduled for Saturday following the showmanship. I invite each of you to attend. I would like the opportunity to recognize each sponsor personally.
Need your help. Please encourage kids from your area to attend the Ak-Sar-Ben and to form a Fitting Challenge team. Our numbers have been steady, but I am always looking for more teams.
