It's that time of year again for the Trausch Farms "In It To Win It" Futurity Show.  Below is all the information you will need: 

NEW THIS YEAR: We will be offering the option of bringing a maximum of 2 additional calves that were NOT purchased through Trausch Farms for an Open Show.  There will also be an entry fee for the Open Show calves of $45.00/head and the Futurity calves will have NO entry fee for the Futurity Show BUT will be charged the entry fee of $45.00/head if they choose to show in the Open Show also.   Open Show cattle WILL NOT be able to compete in the Futurity Show.  The cattle that qualify for the Futurity Show will also be eligible to show in the Open Show by entering and paying the entry fee.  All entry fee money will be split and given back to the kids for prize money.  The futurity show is ONLY open to calves purchased from any of the Trausch Farms sales or private treaty sales this fall from September through December, 2013.

ALSO new this year, cattle sold by Schultz Cattle Company (Scott & Kelly Schultz), Creston Iowa, and Gabel Farms, Colorado, will also be eligible for the show.  There are NO entry fees, NO fitting rules, just lots of money and stuff to give away.  Last year's show was a blast!  There will be $20,000 in prize money to be awarded, including both class and breed money.  We will have market steer, market heifer and breeding heifer divisions (market heifer will compete for Top 5 market animals).  All cattle will be shown by breed, pending there is enough to make a class and if not they will be in the AOB division.  Judges to be announced.

Cattle can arrive as early as Friday, January 31st @ 5:00 p.m. or sooner if need be.

Saturday, February 1st:  Check-in/weigh-in by 1:00 p.m. Saturday ~ Showmanship @ 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, February 2nd:  Show Day!! Starts @ 9:00 a.m.
